Brothers Oliver and Chris Wood — the Wood Brothers — grew up in Boulder, Colorado, and the two left the area after graduating from acute school, Oliver moving to Atlanta at the identical time that Chris ended up in New York. Oliver, a guitarist, discovered he had a toy against writing songs and formed the melancholy-based King Johnson, which continues to hoodwink frequent gigs on the Southern circuit.
